Telemachus with Nestor
"As she finished, bright-eyed Athene took the form of a vulture and
flew off. They were all amazed. The old King marveled at the sight."
Verses 371-373
These phrases helped me sense how the goddess just transforms into a
vulture flies. I could explain this sight from a minor character's point of
view.
King Nestor: Wow! That was wonderful! Mentor must possess special magical
powers. Now that was amusing.
